Over the past several months, a growing number of Reddit users have been sharing their experiences with a man known as Sartaj Singh, who also goes by the name Jimmy Singh, and a company operating under the name ADSC Group Pty Ltd. These posts come from people who claim to be former employees, customers, or individuals who encountered the business during public sales activities. While none of these claims have been tested in court, the consistency of the stories has raised concerns worth closer attention.

According to information shared online, Sartaj Singh was born in 1991 in Haryana, India, married to Ciara Brown and is associated with ADSC Group Pty Ltd, a company involved in selling car service vouchers. Users say these vouchers are sold face-to-face in busy public places such as shopping centre car parks and retail precincts in Melbourne, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast. Some people claim the business has operated under different names, which made it difficult for them to find accurate information before engaging with the company.

One of the most common complaints relates to how these car service vouchers are sold. Several Reddit users say they were approached in car parks and told that car servicing would be “free” or fully covered by the voucher. According to these accounts, customers were pressured to buy the voucher on the spot, usually for around $249, without being given time to properly read the terms and conditions. Some users allege that once they arrived at the garage listed on the voucher, they were asked to pay extra for parts or additional services, which they say was never clearly explained during the sale.

People claiming to have worked for his company describe being trained to push these sales aggressively. A few former workers say they were encouraged to keep pressuring customers even when they looked uncomfortable or tried to walk away. Locations mentioned in user posts include Parkmore Shopping Centre, M City, Dandenong South, and Harbour Town on the Gold Coast. Several people described the work environment as chaotic and heavily focused on making quick sales rather than being upfront with customers.

Wage-related complaints appear repeatedly across different posts. Multiple individuals who say they worked for the company claim they were never paid for the days or weeks they worked. Some allege that payments were constantly delayed with explanations about banking issues or limits, while others say they were told outright that they would not be paid after quitting or being let go. There are also claims that superannuation was never paid, even after repeated follow-ups.

Beyond pay issues, several users describe what they believe was a toxic workplace culture. Former employees allege they were regularly yelled at, insulted, or spoken to in a degrading way. Some describe comments they found racist, sexist, or homophobic. A few people say they were sent to unfamiliar locations alone, sometimes late in the evening, with little support or guidance. One user said they quit within days because they felt unsafe and uncomfortable with how the job was run.

Customers who tried to get refunds have also shared negative experiences. Some claim they were verbally told that refunds would be processed quickly, only to later find that phone numbers did not work or emails went unanswered. Others say they were told to email for a copy of the refund policy instead of being shown the policy upfront. This left several buyers feeling misled and frustrated, especially after already parting with their money.

There are also concerns raised about how the company recruits staff. A few Reddit users say the business structure felt similar to a pyramid-style operation, with constant hiring and high turnover. Some posts suggest that young people and recent migrants are often targeted for sales roles. Others say they were invited to interviews for companies with little or no online presence, only to later discover a connection to ADSC Group Pty Ltd.

Other Reddit users have made even more serious personal claims regarding Sartaj Singh’s private life and actions. These are unsubstantiated and touch on more personal matters, and as such, they should be treated carefully. For the moment, these remain as online accusations and nothing more.

Aggregating the volume of the same type of stories posted by different users has motivated some to request more comprehensive investigations from consumer protection agencies and workplace regulators. Although these remain unproven, the similarities in the accounts of many suggest that potential employees or service buyers from ADSC Group Pty Ltd should research thoroughly and exercise caution.

This article does not claim that Sartaj Singh or ADSC Group Pty Ltd has broken the law. It simply reflects what has been shared publicly by Reddit users who say they were directly affected. If Jimmy Singh or ADSC Group  wishes to respond to any of the claims mentioned here, their response should be heard and included in the interest of fairness.
